My Opinions as a Teacher about the Project
Firstly, I would like to say that Spelling Bee is my first
Project in e-twinning world. Actually i was a little bit anxious about what to
do at the beginning. However my partners and I have worked collaboratively and
solved all the problems that we faced or might have faced. Besides my students
growth with the Project, it also contributed many things to me in my career
developments. I have learnt how to use technology effectively in my classes.
Especially during such a period when we have to do remote courses because of
pandemic situations, the web.02 tools were very beneficial both for me and my
students. The aim of the Project was to teach target words and their
pronounciation to the students. I should say that the purpose of the Project
remarkably came true. Additionally, students had the chance to learn
interdisciplinary they learnt the migrant birds, the benefits of milk, and they
celebrated the national days by using language of English. While learning with fun they used technology
and they were part of the process. This gave them a great self-confidence. I
have to mention that Spelling Bee Project triggered to learn English to not
only my Project students but also my other students in the school. I guess this
is the most intended thing that a teacher can want. I am very proud of being
part of such a Project and to be able to give a chanche to my hardworking
students who are living in a disadvantageous region. Many thanks to everyone
who built the Project and contributed the progression of the Project.
